HIGH SECURITY HORIZONTAL MAILBOXES – FRONT AND REAR LOADING

Made entirely of heavy gauge aluminum (U.S.P.S. approval pending) high security horizontal mailboxes are manufactured to meet the specifications of U.S.P.S. standard 4C which was created to provide a higher level of mail security. Horizontal mailboxes feature a durable aluminum powder coated finish and include factory installed 1/2'' wide peripheral trim. Horizontal mailboxes are available as standard units or can be configured with a combination of four (4) mailbox door sizes and three (3) parcel locker door sizes to meet your custom requirements. Each mailbox door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with a dust/rain shield and three (3) keys. A compartment equivalent to two (2) 3-1/4'' high tenant doors is used for outgoing mail collection. The compartment is labeled ''Outgoing Mail'' and includes a 10-3/4'' W x 3/4'' H mail slot and a weather protection hood. High security horizontal mailboxes are designed for indoor and outdoor use and are ideal for apartments, commercial buildings, colleges and schools and many other applications.

If Front Loading:
Units include one or two master door(s) that swings on continuous integral hinges. The outgoing mail compartment includes the U.S.P.S. master lock access door and cannot be used for mail distribution. The rear of the unit incorporates a solid closed back.

If Rear Loading:
The front of the outgoing mail compartment is comprised of two (2) fixed panels and there is no U.S.P.S. master lock access door. The rear of the unit incorporates one or two heavy duty access door(s) with latches and continuous hinges. <back to top>

AMERICANA MAILBOXES – REAR OR FRONT LOADING

Americana mailboxes have zinc die-cast doors which include a (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys. The doors are hinged on zinc frames and are attached to the individual compartments with four (4) screws. The mailbox compartments are constructed of 20 gauge steel and powder coated tan. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. All units have the same outside dimensions. Rear loading units can be accessed by the U.S.P.S. when used in Free Standing Rotary Mail Centers. Americana mailboxes are ideal for use in colleges and schools, private postal centers, government agencies, corporate mailrooms, military bases, police stations and many other applications.

If Rear Loading:
Units have open backs. Locking rear covers (related item #2150) are available as an option upon request.

If Front Loading:

BRASS MAILBOXES - REAR OR FRONT LOADING

Mailboxes have solid brass die-cast doors which include a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys, a clear 1/4" thick glass window and a nameplate to identify the tenants name and/or box number. The doors are hinged on brass frames and are attached to the individual compartments with four (4) screws. The mailbox compartments are constructed of 20 gauge steel and powder coated tan. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. Mailbox units have the same outside dimensions. Rear loading units can also be used in Free-Standing Rotary Mail Centers and Free-Standing Roll-A-Bout Mail Centers.

CAST ALUMINUM CUSTOM PLAQUES

Made of cast aluminum, weather resistant cast aluminum plaques are available in five (5) attractive designs - RECTANGULAR, ARCHED, OVAL, COLUMN and HANGING. Ideal for homes and businesses, each plaque has raised gold painted characters on a background color that can be specified BLACK, GREEN, MAROON or WHITE. Rectangular, arched and oval plaques are available in surface mounted or lawn mounted styles. Standard oval plaques are also available in a hanging style and include mounting hardware. CLUSTER BOX UNITS (CBU’s) – FRONT LOADING

Made of heavy duty aluminum, 3300 series U.S.P.S. approved pedestal cluster box units are accessed from the front through easy opening master door panels. Each aluminum CBU door includes a heavy duty five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with a dust/rain shield and three (3) keys. Each door also has a 1” H number (1-8, 1-12, 1-16, 1-13 for Type I, Type II, Type III and Type IV, respectively). One additional compartment in each unit is identified as an “Outgoing Mail” receptacle and includes a weather protection flap and a 11-1/2” W x 3/4” H mail slot. Each CBU includes at least one (1) parcel locker which offers tenants a convenient way to receive packages on site. COLLECTION BOXES

Constructed of 16 gauge steel, heavy duty 4900 series collection boxes provide the utmost in security and can withstand severe weather conditions. Collection boxes feature a durable powder coated finish. Custom colors (related item #4905) are available as an option upon request. Collection boxes are locked by placing a standard padlock (related item #4990) through the steel hasp on the front of the unit. Collection boxes are available with an optional factory installed matching snorkel (related item #4950). Snorkels are attached to the unit to provide added convenience when depositing materials. CUSTOM HORIZONTAL MAILBOXES – FRONT AND REAR LOADING

The mailbox compartments are made of sheet aluminum. Custom horizontal mailboxes can integrate different combinations of mailbox and parcel locker door sizes and include a standard aluminum finish. Custom horizontal mailboxes are ideal for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, colleges and schools and many other applications.

If front loading, custom horizontal mailboxes door panel swings on a continuous hinge. One mailbox opening is required for a master postal or commercial lock and cannot be used for mail distribution. Units include factory installed 3/4” W x 1/4” D trim and a solid rear cover.

Constructed of 16 gauge steel, Free Standing Rotary Mail Centers are available in two (2) styles. Made entirely of aluminum, USPS approved vertical mailboxes feature a durable powder coated finish available in an ALUMINUM FINISH, BRASS FINISH, IVORY, GREEN, or BRONZE FINISH. Vertical mailboxes can be either SURFACE MOUNTED on a wall or other flat surface or RECESSED MOUNTED into a rough opening. MAIL CHESTS – U.S.P.S. APPROVED

Made entirely of aluminum, U.S.P.S. approved mail chests feature both a front and rear access locking door. Mail is deposited through a non-locking access panel on the front. Each unit includes an outgoing mail tray, a lock with two (2) keys on each door (keyed alike) and an adjustable red signal flag. Units are available in a black, white, green or silver powder coated finish. Mail chests can be mounted on the optional bolt mounted (#4365) or in-ground mounted (#4385) aluminum pedestals or a base of your choice. ORDER PEDESTALS SEPARATELY. Multiple mail chests can also be mounted on heavy duty aluminum spreaders (related items #4382 and #4383) and attached to any of the pedestals or can be mounted in columns, masonry or walls. Made of aluminum, newspaper holders (#4315) are a unique option for mail chests. Each unit has a solid back and includes mounting hardware to easily attach to mailbox posts and spreaders. ALUMINUM MAILBOXES

Private access aluminum mailboxes are ideal for use in colleges and schools, private postal centers, government agencies, corporate mailrooms, military bases, police stations and many other applications.

There are two different systems of aluminum mailboxes. The STANDARD SYSTEM mailboxes are 23-1/4” W x 30” H x 15-1/2” D. They are designed to stack two (2) high and mount adjacent to each other or between wall studs. The RACK LADDER SYSTEM units are 23-1/4” W x 12-1/8” H x 15-1/2” D. PEDESTAL DROP BOXES

Made of aluminum, pedestal drop boxes are available in three (3) different sizes. Model #4275 is 15-3/4'' W, model #4276 is 23'' W and model #4277 is 30-1/4'' W. All pedestal drop boxes have the same height and depth. Standard units are accessed from the rear through a two (2) point latching master door on the 4275 and two (2) master doors on the 4276 and 4277. Each door swings open over 90 degrees for unloading convenience. Standard units include a locking “T” handle on the rear door(s), a weather protection hood and a mail flap on the front of the unit. Units can also be customized (related item #4280) with front and/or rear doors, larger slots or no slots, multiple compartments or as specified to meet your requirements.
